Dental Administrator - Atlantic Dental Centre

Our practice offers a comprehensive range of dental services, including general and cosmetic dentistry, preventative hygiene, orthodontics, restorative dentistry, implants, and sleep dentistry.

Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Full time hours
- 32-40 hours per week.
- One evening until 7 pm per week

Your Role:
- Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression
- Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps
- Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
- Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations
- Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage, and file all patient records and charts
- Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments
- Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner
About You:
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Administration experience is required
- Experience with dental software programs is required
- Clinical background is considered an asset
